Son Balagueret

Son Balagueret is a traditional Mallorcan four-bedroom villa, part of Son Bunyola, a luxury 680-acre estate on the picturesque island of Mallorca. Privacy and comfort, combined with the breathtaking surrounding coastal landscape, dotted with vines, citrus, olive and almond trees, create an idyllic setting in which to completely relax and unwind.

This historic Mallorcan residence has an elevated hillside position that offers superb panoramic coastal views. The villa still has its original turret, dating back to the 13th century, and the small slotted secret windows were once used to signal to lookout points in the area to warn of possible attacks.

A charming sheltered courtyard serves as the centre point of the house and is an ideal spot in which to unwind or retreat to a cosy corner with a good book. To soak up the warm Mediterranean sun, guests can laze by the private heated swimming pool that overlooks Mallorca’s beautiful northwest coastline. Perfectly complementing the dramatic scenery, the estate has a large and unused historic manor house, or ‘finca’, dating from the mid-1200s.

Son Balagueret is built over three floors, including a quirky turret. The well-appointed interior space is elegant and cosy, inspired by stylish traditional furnishings. The villa can accommodate up to eight adults in 4 bedrooms, each with en-suite or private facilities. For larger groups, there is also a daybed in the living room that can be made into a single bed for an additional adult or a double for two children.

A holiday at Son Balagueret will offer guests a myriad of options to pass the time. From relaxing by the pool or visiting local vineyards, to more active adventures such as golfing, cycling and hiking, there is always a wide array of things to do! The professional service team is on hand to arrange everything from spa treatments to different sports activities.

Although the Son Bunyola estate is secluded, guests can also easily explore the surrounding area and discover the charming Mallorcan villages with abundant museums, art galleries, boutique-style shops and cafes. Son Balagueret is available on a self-catering basis across all seasons. On request, the villa can be booked on an all-inclusive basis or we can arrange a fully stocked fridge at an additional charge.
